In this final installment of the series, we will look at the Media Servers PLEX and KODI. Both have a common origin and pedigree. And while both give you similar displays, under the hood they work in significantly different fashions. These differences should be the primary reason for choosing one over the other. This video talks about the more significant differences.
Some artists have a volume of work, like Jimmy Buffett for example. I think I must have around 27 albums (not including any compilations or live albums), which comes down to humndreds of songs. However I notice I generally only listen to a handful (rather large handful) of songs. (more…)
I want to expound on an issue I have come across recently. I decided to organize my music collection from the last forty five years, for media players and computers. It was going quite well, until I started running into a reoccurring problems with “greatest Hits” collections. (more…)
